About Eastern Tire Distributors Inc

In Birmingham, a plug or patch repair usually takes under half an hour without an appointment, while a full set of tires with alignment is best booked ahead. Birmingham is in Alabama, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Birmingham follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Best place for tires, brakes, suspension, you name it, they are the best! Great people, very honest. Been going there for over 50 years and would never go anywhere else.

I honestly don’t understand how Eastern Tires has a 4.7-star rating. My experience was terrible. I came in with a flat tire and left with the tire still flat, plus a broken passenger-side window. They still charged me $18 for a repair that, in my experience, was not actually completed. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and was able to get my money back. What bothered me most was the lack of accountability. Based on what I observed, I believe my passenger-side window may have been damaged when one of the mechanics slammed the door too hard or bumped something, but the shop refused to take responsibility. I would not recommend this place based on my experience. I came in needing a simple flat-tire repair and left with the original problem unresolved and additional damage to my vehicle.

I went to this shop two times this year first visit was great. My visit today was terrible to say the least. A tire tech get in the car let the power windows down drives to car into the shop. After fixing my tire they park my car with the window down. After paying and getting my keys I walked out and noticed my window glass was pointing up usually. I let me up only for the glass to go up at a usually angle. I told the manager there and they denied any responsibility but the window was not just 20 mins before they got into the car working fine. It could have broke on them on by chance but apologies or discount, they could have just told him the window won’t go back up not just let’s see if he notices it. When I got home I put the window back on track which took 2 mins to do. Shame on this shop I felt like I can’t trust this place anymore. Update: they didn’t even patch the tire correctly next day flat again.

These guys are awesome!! Searched high and low for me a tire for my trailer as I was on the side of the road and they came through big time!! Not only did they find me the tire but sold me one with a rim ready to go for the price of a used tire. Two thumbs way up!! I'll only use this tire shop from here on out!! Great job guys!!
